Students at Bear Town Academy, LLC will receive a firm educational foundation and will be able to develop leadership skills that translate to success in secondary schools through college.
Who Are We?
We are a private elementary school located in New Bern, NC. We engage students who love to learn from various sources and families that value education in a cooperative community. Our school services children from kindergarten through fifth grade.
Head of Our Program
Welcome to our school! We have dedicated faculty who will engage students and encourage their love for learning. Inspired by our motto: Treat others the way God wants us to and because we are all His children.
As our students grow academically they will be challenged to reach higher levels of intellectual achievement with the full support of their teachers.
Instruction is a combination of teacher-directed, differentiated individual exploration and collaboration among peers, allowing for multiple modes of learning.
We will have smaller classes to enhance their learning capabilities and comprehension. We will also provide outstanding healthy programs in the elective area (arts, music, dance, yoga, karate and wrestling.)

Academics
Bear Town Academy offers a classic curriculum that is relevant to today’s world.
We are preparing our children to be able to thrive in secondary school and beyond. They will also thrive in their communities and employment endeavors.
During the early learning process our children will discover that:

- It builds confidence, character and self esteem
- Their independence
- How to be critical thinkers and problem solvers
